Therapeutic indications
Acetamol Early Childhood Syrup is used in the symptomatic treatment of fever and mild or moderate pain.
Dosage and Posology
Acetamol Early Childhood Syrup should be taken in the following doses and methods:
Children up to 18 months and weighing more than 3 kg: the dose of 25 mg for every 2 kg of weight can normally be administered, corresponding to 1 milliliter (mL) of syrup every 6 hours (never less than 4 hours between doses and the other)
Children over 18 months and weighing more than 11 kg: normally a dose of 25 mg can be administered for every 2 kg of weight corresponding to 1 milliliter (mL) of syrup every 4 hours (never less than 4 hours between doses and the other one). The table contains some examples in relation to weight.
Acetamol Early Childhood Syrup can be taken by children of any age by calculating the correct dose based on weight. However, the drug is identified as Early Childhood because, being packaged in 100 mL bottles, it may be insufficient for children weighing more than 15 kg, failing to cover an adequate number of days of treatment. The pack contains a 5 mL dosing syringe for oral administration, graduated with 0.5 mL markings; one notch corresponds to 12.5 mg of paracetamol.

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Acetamol Prima Infanzia Sciroppo si usa nel trattamento sintomatico della febbre e del dolore lieve o moderato.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Acetamol Prima Infanzia Sciroppo va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalità:
Bambini fino a 18 mesi e di peso superiore a 3 kg: normalmente può essere somministrata la dose di 25 mg per ogni 2 kg di peso, corrispondente ad 1 millilitro (mL) di sciroppo ogni 6 ore (mai meno di 4 ore tra una dose e l’altra)
Bambini sopra i 18 mesi e di peso superiore a 11 kg: normalmente può essere somministrata la dose di 25 mg per ogni 2 kg di peso corrispondente ad 1 millilitro (mL) di sciroppo ogni 4 ore (mai meno di 4 ore tra una dose e l’altra). La tabella contiene alcuni esempi in rapporto al peso.
Acetamol Prima Infanzia Sciroppo può essere assunto dai bambini di qualsiasi età calcolando la dose corretta in base al peso. Il medicinale tuttavia è identificato come Prima Infanzia poiché, essendo confezionato in flaconi da 100 mL, può risultare insufficiente per i bambini di peso superiore a 15 kg non riuscendo a coprire un adeguato numero di giorni di trattamento. La confezione contiene una siringa dosatrice per somministrazione orale da 5 mL, graduata con tacche da 0,5 mL; una tacca corrisponde a 12,5 mg di paracetamolo.
