This medication is used to relieve symptoms of irritation and inflammation as well as pain associated with oropharyngeal cable (eg, sore throat, gum disease, and stomatitis). The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is one tablet, from slowly dissolving in the mouth, every 3 to 6 hours, depending on need, to a maximum daily dose of 8 pads. Do not give to children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Each tablet contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.
