Recommendations for use of Imodium acute lingual:
Youth from 12 years:
Initial dose: 1 orodispersible tablet (= 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
Repeat dose: 1 orodispersible tablet (= 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
Maximum daily dose: 4 orodispersible tablets (= 8 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
Adult:
First dose: 2 orodispersible tablets (= 4 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
Repeat dose: 1 orodispersible tablet (= 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
Maximum daily dose: 6 orodispersible tablets (= 12 mg loperamide hydrochloride)
At the beginning of the treatment of acute diarrhea, the first dose is taken. Thereafter, the repeat dose should be taken after each unformed stool. The recommended maximum daily dose must not be exceeded.

Imodium akut lingual is placed on the tongue. The orodispersible tablet dissolves immediately on the tongue and is swallowed with the saliva. No further fluid intake is required.
Duration of application
Do not take Imodium acute lingual for more than 2 days without medical advice. If the diarrhea persists after 2 days of treatment with Imodium acute lingual, Imodium acute lingual must be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
Treatment with drugs containing loperamide for longer than 2 days may only be carried out under medical prescription and monitoring of the course. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Imodium acute lingual is too strong or too weak.
Recommended use of Saltadol – glucose-electrolyte mixture:
One sachet contains 4.13 g powder mix. The contents of a sachet are dissolved in 200 ml of boiled, cooled water or tea and drunk warm or cold.
The individual duration of use depends on the doctor’s instructions. For babies and toddlers, it usually lasts 6-12 hours, up to a maximum of 24 hours. Infants: if you omit any food for 24 hours, drink 120-150 ml per kg / body weight. The amount you drink per hour should be approx. 10 ml / kg body weight.
The daily amount should be limited to 6 sachets for infants. Small children, school children and adults: drink the contents of the sachet several times a day as needed, dissolved in 200 ml of liquid. Adults can drink up to 4 liters of Saltadol® throughout the day if they have severe diarrhea. This corresponds to an amount of 20 bags.
Saltadol® is tasteless, gluten-free and lactose-free.

Zu Beginn der Behandlung von akuten Durchfallen erfolgt die Einnahme der Erstdosis. Danach soll nach jedem ungeformten Stuhl die Wiederholungsdosis eingenommen werden. Die empfohlene Tageshochstdosis darf nicht uberschritten werden.
Art der Anwendung
Imodium akut lingual wird auf die Zunge gelegt. Die Schmelztablette zergeht sofort auf der Zunge und wird mit dem Speichel hinuntergeschluckt. Weitere Flussigkeitsaufnahme ist nicht erforderlich.
Dauer der Anwendung
Nehmen Sie Imodium akut lingual ohne arztlichen Rat nicht langer als 2 Tage ein. Wenn der Durchfall nach 2 Tagen Behandlung mit Imodium akut lingual weiterhin besteht, muss Imodium akut lingual abgesetzt werden und ein Arzt aufgesucht werden.
Eine uber 2 Tage hinausgehende Behandlung mit loperamidhaltigen Arzneimitteln darf nur unter arztlicher Verordnung und Verlaufsbeobachtung erfolgen. Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung von Imodium akut lingual zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
Anwendungsempfehlung von Saltadol – Glucose-Elektrolyt-Mischung:
Ein Beutel enthalt 4,13 g Pulvermischung. Der Inhalt eines Beutels wird in 200 ml abgekochtem, abgekuhltem Wasser oder Tee aufgelost und warm oder kalt getrunken.
Die individuelle Dauer der Anwendung richtet sich nach der Anweisung des Arztes. Sie dauert bei Sauglingen und Kleinkindern in der Regel 6 – 12 Stunden, maximal 24 Stunden.Sauglinge:bei Weglassen jeder Nahrung uber 24 Stunden verteilt eine Trinkmenge von 120 – 150 ml pro kg/Korpergewicht. Pro Stunde sollte die Trinkmenge ca. 10 ml/kg Korpergewicht betragen.
Die Tagesmenge sollte bei Sauglingen auf 6 Beutel begrenzt werden.Kleinkinder, Schulkinder und Erwachsene:Trinken, je nach Bedarf, mehrmals taglich den Inhalt des Beutels, gelost in 200 ml Flussigkeit. Erwachsene konnen bei starkem Durchfall bis zu 4 Liter Saltadol® uber den Tag verteilt trinken. Dies entspricht einer Menge von 20 Beuteln.
Saltadol® ist geschmacksneutral, glutenfrei und lactosefrei.
