ASS + C-1A Pharma (pack size: 20 pcs) are a pain reliever and antipyretic drug. You can use the preparation for mild to moderately severe pain (headache, toothache, menstrual pain), pain associated with colds and fever.
Because of the possible occurrence of Reye’s syndrome, acetylsalicylic acid may only be used in children and adolescents with febrile illnesses on medical advice and only if other measures do not work.
Mode of action
Acetylsalicylic acid (ASS), the active ingredient in the ASS + C-1A Pharma (pack size: 20 pcs), has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Their mechanism of action is based on the irreversible inhibition of cyclo-oxygenase, an enzyme that is responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins in our body, a group of pain and inflammation-mediated messenger substances. By blocking the thromboxane synthesis, acetylsalicylic acid also inhibits platelet aggregation and thus improves the flow properties of our blood. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) has shown in studies that it has a protective effect against ASA-induced gastric damage. The administration as an effervescent tablet also guarantees rapid release and absorption of the active ingredient and thus a rapid onset of action.
