Ointment based on camphor and essential oils of turpentine, menthol and eucalyptus.
Therapeutic indications
Vicks Vaporub Ointment is used in the balsamic treatment in affections of the upper respiratory tract.
Dosage and Posology
Vicks Vaporub Ointment should be taken in the following doses and methods. Apply externally by first rubbing the chest, throat and back for 3-5 minutes and then spread a thick layer on the chest. Repeat the treatment twice a day, once in the evening before bed. Do not rub on the front of the chest, neck and back more than twice a day. Wear loose fitting clothing to facilitate inhalation of vapors.
Dissolve 2 coffee spoons (2x5ml) in half a liter of hot water and suck the steam released, for a time not exceeding 10 min. In order to avoid the risk of severe burns, do not heat the mixture a second time or heat the mixture during inhalation. Do not heat in the microwave.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days. The product must not be ingested.

Vicks Vaporub Unguento si usa nel trattamento balsamico nelle affezioni delle prime vie respiratorie.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Vicks Vaporub Unguento va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalità. Applicare esternamente frizionando dapprima per 3-5 minuti il petto, la gola ed il dorso e poi stendere uno spesso strato sul petto. Ripetere il trattamento 2 volte al giorno di cui una la sera prima di dormire. Non frizionare più di due volte al giorno sulla parte anteriore del torace, sul collo e sul dorso. Indossare abiti ampi per facilitare l’inalazione dei vapori.
Sciogliere 2 cucchiaini da caffè (2x5ml) in mezzo litro di acqua calda e aspirare il vapore liberato, per un tempo non superiore a 10 min. Al fine di evitare il rischio di gravi ustioni non riscaldare la miscela una seconda volta né riscaldare la miscela durante l’inalazione. Non riscaldare nel microonde.
Non superare le dosi consigliate. La durata del trattamento non deve superare i 3 giorni. Il prodotto non deve essere ingerito.
