Therapeutic indications
Verecolene C.M. it is used in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 to 2 coated tablets per day.
Children from 4 to 12 years: 1 coated tablet per day, only after consulting your doctor.
The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to produce an easy evacuation of soft faeces. It is advisable to initially use the minimum doses provided. When necessary, the dose can then be increased, but without ever exceeding the maximum indicated. Take preferably after the evening meal, so that the effect of the laxative, which occurs after 10-12 hours, does not disturb sleep. As with all laxatives, Verecolene C.M. it must be used as infrequently as possible and in any case for no more than five continuous days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Swallow with an adequate amount of water (a large glass). A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the medicine.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità:
Adulti e adolescenti di età superiore a 12 anni: da 1 a 2 compresse rivestite al giorno.
Bambini dai 4 ai 12 anni: 1 compressa rivestita al giorno, solo dopo aver consultato il medico.
La dose corretta è quella minima sufficiente a produrre una facile evacuazione di feci molli. È consigliabile usare inizialmente le dosi minime previste. Quando necessario, la dose può essere poi aumentata, ma senza mai superare quella massima indicata. Assumere preferibilmente dopo il pasto serale, in modo che l’effetto del lassativo, che si produce dopo 10-12 ore, non disturbi il sonno. Come con tutti i lassativi, Verecolene C.M. deve essere usato il meno frequentemente possibile e comunque per non più di cinque giorni continuativi. L’uso per periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del singolo caso. Le compresse vanno deglutite intere. Ingerire insieme ad una adeguata quantità di acqua (un bicchiere abbondante). Una dieta ricca di liquidi favorisce l’effetto del medicinale.
