Venoruton is indicated:
to treat symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency
to treat states of capillary fragility
Venoruton contains the active ingredient oxerutin, a substance obtained from the flowers and leaves of Sophora Japonica, which belongs to the flavonoid family. Oxerutin has an antioxidant action and protects blood vessels.

The recommended dose for Venoruton 500 mg coated tablets is:
2 – 3 tablets a day, even in venous insufficiency of the haemorrhoidal plexus (haemorrhoids). Use the tablets by swallowing them whole, with some water, without chewing, before or during meals.
Use only for short periods of treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If your symptoms do not improve or if they come back, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before continuing or restarting treatment. La dose raccomandata per Venoruton 500 mg compresse rivestite e:
2 – 3 compresse al giorno, anche nell’insufficienza venosa del plesso emorroidario (emorroidi). Usi le compresse deglutendole intere, con un po’ d’acqua, senza masticarle, prima o durante i pasti.
Usi solo per brevi periodi di trattamento. Non superi le dosi consigliate. Se i sintomi non dovessero migliorare o dovessero ripresentarsi, si rivolga al medico o al farmacista prima di continuare o riprendere il trattamento.
