The active substance is dextromethorphan hydrobromide (Dextromethorphani hydrobromidum).
Each tablet contains 15 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, potato starch, povidone 90F, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, magnesium stearate.

Acodin contains dextromethorphan. The drug, through direct effect on the central nervous system, inhibits the cough reflex. In therapeutic doses, it does not inhibit respiratory function and the functioning of the ciliary apparatus of the bronchi (the structure responsible for the transport of secreted mucus).

cough resulting from colds,
pleural cough (e.g. chest injuries),
cough caused by inhalation of irritants.

Usual dose:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet every 4 hours or 2 tablets every 6-8 hours.
Do not exceed the daily dose of dextromethorphan (8 tablets).
