Paracetamol Biofarm is a drug with analgesic and antipyretic properties with an increased dose of the active substance – 1000 mg.
The active substance is paracetamol (Paracetamolum).
1 tablet contains 1000 mg of paracetamol.
Excipients: pregelatinized starch (maize), crospovidone, povidone, stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate; tablet coating (AquaPolish clear 09.03VF): hypromellose 6cP, talc, glycerol.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or according to the doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The drug is administered orally.
Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with a minimum body weight of 50 kg: 1 tablet is used once, if necessary, the next one can be taken at an interval of 4 to 6 hours.
The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets (4,000 mg paracetamol).
Special patient groups:
adults and children from 12 years of age (weighing less than 50 kg),
patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency (mild to moderate),
patients with Gilbert’s syndrome,
patients who are dehydrated or chronically malnourished,
patients with chronic alcohol consumption,
should consult a physician before using the drug in order to determine the appropriate dose for them.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według wskazań lekarza, lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek podaje się doustnie.
Bez konsultacji z lekarzem nie stosować dłużej niż przez 3 dni.
Dorośli i młodzież od 12 lat o masie ciała minimum 50 kg: jednorazowo stosuje się 1 tabletkę, jeśli jest taka konieczność kolejną można przyjąć w odstępie 4 do 6 godzin.
Maksymalna dawka dobowa wynosi 4 tabletki ( 4 000mg paracetamolu).
Specjalne grupy pacjentów:
dorośli oraz dzieci w wieku od 12 lat (o masie ciała mniejszej niż 50 kg),
pacjenci z niewydolnością nerek lub wątroby (łagodną do umiarkowanej),
pacjenci z zespołem Gilberta,
pacjenci odwodnieni lub przewlekle niedożywieni,
pacjenci przewlekle spożywający alkohol,
powinni skonsultować się z lekarzem przed zastosowaniem leku w celu ustalenia dla nich odpowiedniej dawki.
