Therapeutic indications
NIROLEX COUGH AND CATARRUS is indicated in the treatment of secretion disorders in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Dosage
The following dosages are recommended unless otherwise prescribed: Adults: 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 ml) 3 times a day (= 24 mg per day). In adults, at the start of treatment, it may be necessary to increase the total daily dose up to 48 mg (60 ml) divided into three times. Children over 2 years of age: ½ – 1 teaspoon (2.5 – 5 ml) 3 times a day (= 12 mg daily). It is recommended to take the drug after meals. The syrup can be administered to diabetics and children over 2 years of age, it does not contain fructose or sucrose. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Overdose
No symptoms of overdose have ever been reported. In the event of an overdose, symptomatic treatment is advised.

NIROLEX TOSSE E CATARRO è indicata nel trattamento delle turbe della secrezione nelle affezioni respiratorie acute e croniche.
Posologia
Si consigliano i seguenti dosaggi salvo diversa prescrizione medica: Adulti: 1–2 cucchiaini da tè (5–10 ml) 3 volte al giorno (= 24 mg die). Negli adulti, all’inizio del trattamento, può essere necessario aumentare la dose totale giornaliera fino a 48 mg (60 ml) divisa in tre volte. Bambini di età superiore ai 2 anni: ½–1 cucchiaino da tè (2,5 – 5 ml) 3 volte al giorno (= 12 mg die). Si consiglia l’assunzione del farmaco dopo i pasti. Lo sciroppo è somministrabile a diabetici e bambini di età superiore ai 2 anni, non contiene fruttosio né saccarosio. Non superare le dosi consigliate.
Sovradosaggio
Non sono mai stati riportati sintomi di sovradosaggio. In caso di sovradosaggio è consigliato un trattamento sintomatico.
