Multibiotic is an ointment containing three antibiotics – neomycin, polymyxin B and bacitracin with antibacterial properties.
The active substances of the drug are neomycin sulfate (Neomycini sulfas), zinc bacitracin (Bacitracinum zincum) and polymyxin B sulfate (Polymyxini B sulfas).
1 g of ointment contains 5 mg of neomycin sulfate, 10 mg of zinc bacitracin and 0.833 mg of polymyxin B sulfate.
Excipients: propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), white petrolatum.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use 2 to 5 times a day, at equal intervals.
Before each application of the ointment, wash the affected area with soap and water, then dry the skin thoroughly and apply a thin layer of ointment.
The affected area may be covered with a sterile protective gauze pad.
Treatment should not exceed 7 days.
The drug should be used throughout this period.

Substancjami czynnymi leku są neomycyny siarczan (Neomycini sulfas), bacytracyna cynkowa (Bacitracinum zincum) oraz polimyksyny B siarczan (Polymyxini B sulfas).
1 g maści zawiera 5 mg neomycyny siarczanu, 10 mg bacytracyny cynkowej i 0,833 mg polimyksyny B siarczanu.
Substancje pomocnicze: propylu parahydroksybenzoesan (E 216), metylu parahydroksybenzoesan (E 218), wazelina biała.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
O Ile lekarz nie zaleci inaczej, stosować 2 do 5 razy wciągu doby, w jednakowych odstępach czasu.
Przed każdym nałożeniem maści umyć chore miejsce mydłem i wodą, po czym dokładnie wysuszyć skórę i pokryć cienką warstwą maści.
Pokryte maścią chore miejsce może być zabezpieczone jałowym ochronnym opatrunkiem gazowym.
Leczenie nie powinno trwać dłużej niż 7 dni.
Lek należy stosować przez cały ten okres.
