Chewable tablets against acidity based on magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, dimethicone.
Therapeutic indications
Maalox Plus Chewable Tablets is used:
on its own to treat the following symptoms: heartburn and stomach pain even in the case of inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis)
together with other therapies to: reduce stomach acid (hyperacidity) and excess intestinal gas (meteorism) associated with digestive disorders (dyspepsia); treat lesions of the internal lining of the stomach, duodenum or esophagus (gastroduodenal ulcers).
This medicine contains:
magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide which act as antacids in the stomach
dimethicone which absorbs intestinal gas.
Talk to your doctor if you don’t feel better or if you feel worse.
Dosage and Posology
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist Do not exceed the indicated doses unless advised by your doctor.
The recommended dose in adults and adolescents over 18 years of age is:
2-4 tablets 4 times a day, to be taken 20-60 minutes after meals and at bedtime.
Method of administration
Chew or suck the tablets well. After taking this medicine, you can ingest water or milk

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Maalox Plus Compresse Masticabili è usato:
da solo per trattare i seguenti sintomi: bruciore e dolore di stomaco anche in caso di infiammazione dell’esofago (esofagite)
insieme ad altre terapie per: ridurre l’acidità di stomaco (iperacidità) e l’eccesso di gas intestinali (meteorismo) associati ai disturbi della digestione (dispepsia); trattare le lesioni della mucosa interna dello stomaco, del duodeno o dell’esofago (ulcere gastroduodenali).
Questo medicinale contiene:
magnesio idrossido e alluminio idrossido che agiscono come antiacidi a livello dello stomaco
dimeticone che assorbe i gas intestinali.

Dosaggio e Posologia

La dose raccomandata negli adulti e negli adolescenti sopra i 18 anni d’età è:
