What Ibalgin Grip is and what it is used for
Ibalgin Grip contains ibuprofen and phenylephrine hydrochloride, substances that are effective in relieving the symptoms of the flu and colds, including fever, headache, painful sinuses, sore throat, and muscle and joint pain. In addition, it helps with colds, relieves a stuffy nose and nasal cavities, and thus facilitates breathing. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and is effective against pain (including headache), swelling and also reduces fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride (a substance that reduces blood flow to the nasal mucosa) reduces swelling in the nasal cavity, relieves a stuffy nose and reduces pressure that can cause headaches.
Use Ibalgin Grip only if you have the flu or a cold that is accompanied by a stuffy nose. If you do not have a stuffy nose, you should prefer a one-component preparation containing only ibuprofen. This medicine is for adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.
