if you receive repeated or chronic blood transfusions.

Dosing of FERRO SANOL

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is
For adults: At the beginning of treatment 35 drops 4 to 6 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks, then 35 drops 1 to 2 times a day.
For infants and small children (with at least 2 kg body weight): The drops are dosed according to body weight. The low dose in each weight class is recommended for fasting. The high dose should be adhered to when taking it not on an empty stomach.

4 drops 2 to 4 times a day for a body weight of 4 kg
5 drops 2 to 4 times a day for a body weight of 5 kg

Elderly patients
There are no clinical data to suggest that dose adjustments are required in the elderly.
Patients with impaired kidney or liver function
There are no clinical data to suggest that dose adjustments are required in patients with impaired renal or hepatic function.
Children and adolescents
The drops should not be used in infants and children who weigh less than 2 kg

Dosierung von FERRO SANOL
Nehmen Sie die Tropfen immer genau nach der Anweisung in dieser Packungsbeilage ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die übliche Dosis
bei Erwachsenen: Zu Beginn der Behandlung 4- bis 6-mal täglich 35 Tropfen 1 bis 2 Wochen lang, danach 1- bis 2-mal täglich 35 Tropfen.
bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern (mit mindestens 2 kg Körpergewicht): Die Tropfen werden nach Körpergewicht dosiert. Die niedrige Dosis in den einzelnen Gewichtsklassen wird für die Nüchterneinnahme empfohlen. Die hohe Dosis sollte bei einer Nicht-Nüchterneinnahme eingehalten werden.
