Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has discussed. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
As a rub
Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply a strand of cream about 3-5 cm long, corresponding to about 0.7-1.2 g of cream, to the chest and back 2-3 times a day and rub in well.
Children aged 2-11 years:
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply an approx. 3-4 cm strand of cream, corresponding to approx. 0.7-0.9 g cream, to your chest and back 2-3 times a day and rub in well.
Infants from 6 months and toddlers up to 23 months:
In babies and toddlers from 6 months to 2 years of age, the drug may only be applied to the back.
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply an approx. 2-3 cm strand of cream, corresponding to approx. 0.5-0.7 g cream, only a hand’s width across your back 2-3 times a day and rub in well.
There is a contraindication for infants up to 6 months of age.
As steam inhalation
Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
For head steam baths, 4-6 cm strand of cream, corresponding to about 1.0-1.4 g of cream, is mixed in 1-2 liters of water 2-3 times a day until the symptoms have subsided and the vapors are inhaled under a suitable cloth.
Children aged 6-11 years:
For head steam baths, a 4 cm strand of cream, corresponding to approx. 1.0 g of cream, is mixed in 1-2 liters of water 2-3 times a day until the symptoms subside and the vapors are inhaled under a suitable cloth.
Infants and children up to the age of 6:
The medicinal product must not be used by inhalation in children up to the age of 6.
Do not allow children to inhale unsupervised as there is a risk of scalding!
The use of a closed steam inhaler is recommended to prevent scalding.
Duration of application
The duration of the usage will be decided by the medicating doctor.
Do not use this medicine for more than a few days without medical advice.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak.
If you take more medicine than you should
In the event of improper use (accidental ingestion), nausea, vomiting and diarrhea can occur. In severe cases, blood in the urine, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, convulsions, shortness of breath, circulatory reactions and loss of consciousness are possible.
If poisoning is suspected, a doctor should be notified immediately, who will take the necessary measures if necessary.
If you have used more of this medicine than you should, please notify your doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures. The side effects listed below may be more pronounced.
If you forget to use the medicine
Do not use double the amount to make up for a forgotten dose, but continue as prescribed by your doctor or as described in this leaflet.
If you stop using the drug
Please adhere to the duration of therapy specified by the doctor, as otherwise a complete treatment success cannot be guaranteed.

Als Einreibung
Erwachsene und Heranwachsende ab 12 Jahren:
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, 2-3 x täglich einen etwa 3-5 cm langen Cremestrang, entsprechend ca. 0,7-1,2 g Creme, auf Brust und Rücken auftragen und gut einreiben.
Kinder im Alter von 2-11 Jahren:
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, 2-3 x täglich einen etwa 3-4 cm Cremestrang, entsprechend ca. 0,7-0,9 g Creme, auf Brust und Rücken auftragen und gut einreiben.
Säuglinge ab 6 Monate und Kleinkinder bis 23 Monate:
Bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern vom 6. Lebensmonat bis zum vollendeten 2. Lebensjahr darf das Arzneimittel nur auf dem Rücken aufgetragen werden.
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, 2-3 x täglich einen etwa 2-3 cm Cremestrang, entsprechend ca. 0,5-0,7 g Creme, nur handbreit auf dem Rücken auftragen und gut einreiben.
Für Säuglinge bis zum 6. Lebensmonat besteht eine Gegenanzeige.
Als Dampfinhalation
Erwachsene und Heranwachsende ab 12 Jahren:
Für Kopfdampfbäder werden 4-6 cm Cremestrang, entsprechend ca.1,0-1,4 g Creme, 2-3x täglich bis zum Abklingen der Symptome in 1-2 Liter Wasser verrührt und die Dämpfe unter einem geeigneten Tuch inhaliert.
Kinder im Alter von 6-11 Jahren:
Für Kopfdampfbäder werden 4 cm Cremestrang, entsprechend ca. 1,0 g Creme, 2-3x täglich bis zum Abklingen der Symptome in 1-2 Liter Wasser verrührt und die Dämpfe unter einem geeigneten Tuch inhaliert.
Säuglinge und Kinder bis zum 6. Lebensjahr:
Das Arzneimittel darf bei Kindern bis zum vollendeten 6. Lebensjahr nicht als Inhalation angewendet werden.
Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt inhalieren lassen, da Verbrühungsgefahr besteht!
Zur Verhütung von Verbrühungen wird die Verwendung eines geschlossenen Dampfinhalators empfohlen.
Dauer der Anwendung
Über die Dauer der Anwendung entscheidet der behandelnde Arzt.
Wenden Sie dieses Arzneimittel ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht länger als einige Tage an.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung dieses Arzneimittels zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
Wenn Sie eine größere Menge des Arzneimittels angewendet haben, als Sie sollten
Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Anwendung (versehentlicher Einnahme) können Übelkeit, Erbrechen und Durchfall auftreten. In schwerwiegenden Fällen sind Blut im Urin, Kopfschmerzen, Schwindel, Benommenheit, Krämpfe, Atemnot, Kreislaufreaktionen und Bewusstlosigkeit möglich.
Bei Verdacht einer Vergiftung sollte sofort ein Arzt benachrichtigt werden, der ggf. die notwendigen Maßnahmen einleiten wird.
Wenn Sie von diesem Arzneimittel eine größere Menge angewendet haben als Sie sollten, benachrichtigen Sie bitte Ihren Arzt. Dieser kann über gegebenenfalls erforderliche Maßnahmen entscheiden. Möglicherweise treten die unten aufgeführten Nebenwirkungen verstärkt auf.
Wenn Sie die Anwendung des Arzneimittels vergessen haben
Wenden Sie nicht die doppelte Menge an, wenn Sie die vorherige Anwendung vergessen haben, sondern setzen Sie die Anwendung wie vom Arzt verordnet oder in dieser Packungsbeilage beschrieben fort.
Wenn Sie die Anwendung des Arzneimittels abbrechen
Bitte halten Sie die vom Arzt vorgegebene Therapiedauer ein, da sonst ein vollständiger Behandlungserfolg nicht zu gewährleisten ist.
