Erazaban is a cold sores medicine that blocks the virus from entering healthy skin cells. Its active ingredient is docosanol, which is a component of human cell membranes.
The active substance of the drug is vasazol (Doconazolum).
1 g of cream contains 100 mg of docosanol.
Excipients: sucrose stearate and distearate, light mineral oil, propylene glycol,
benzyl alcohol and purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: externally, carefully apply a thin layer of cream over the entire surface of herpetic lesions five times a day (at intervals of about 3 hours during the day).
Treatment should be started as soon as you notice the first symptoms of cold sores (itching, burning, burning or stinging at the affected area)
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medicine to avoid spreading any infection. You can use a cotton bud to apply the cream.
Continue treatment until fully healed, usually between days 4 and 6 of treatment. If there is no improvement in symptoms after 10 days, discontinue use of the drug and consult a physician.
Please note that this medication should only be used by one person. Handing the tube to other people runs the risk of passing on an infection.

Należy pamiętać, że ten lek powinien być stosowany tylko przez jedną osobę. Przekazanie tuby innym osobom wiąże się z ryzykiem przeniesienia na nie zakażenia.

Lek Erzaban jest stosowany w leczeniu wczesnych objawów wargowych nawracających zakażeń wirusem opryszczki zwykłej – Herpex simplex, u dorosłych i dzieci w wieku powyżej 12lat.
