Therapeutic indications
Daktarin Dermatological cutaneous powder is a dermatological medicine indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi (dermatophytes) or yeast (Candida) possibly complicated by bacterial infections. Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.
Daktarin Dermatological Skin Powder contains miconazole nitrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called ‘antifungals’ used to treat fungal infections.
Dosage and posology
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. For external use only. Use Daktarin Dermatological Skin Powder every day for best results. It is especially indicated for the treatment of wet lesions.
Apply enough powder to cover the affected area. Apply the powder 2 times a day. Treatment should be continued uninterrupted for at least one week after the symptoms disappear, and can last from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the type and extent of the infection.
If you are also using Daktarin Dermatologico cream in combination, it is sufficient to use both the powder and the cream once a day.
How to use
Wash the affected area and dry well. You treat not only the infected part, but also the area around it. Wash your hands thoroughly after each application to avoid transferring germs to other parts of the body or to other people. In foot infections it is recommended to sprinkle the feet with Daktarin Dermatologico skin powder daily during and after treatment with another formulation for local use (Daktarin Dermatologico cream), especially the spaces between the toes, and also the socks and shoes.

Si rivolga al medico se non si sente meglio o se si sente peggio.
Daktarin Dermatologico Polvere cutanea contiene miconazolo nitrato, che appartiene ad un gruppo di medicinali denominati “antimicotici” usati per trattare le infezioni da funghi.
Dosaggio e posologia
Usi questo medicinale seguendo sempre esattamente quanto riportato in questo foglio o le istruzioni del medico o del farmacista. Se ha dubbi consulti il medico o il farmacista. Solo per uso esterno. Utilizzi Daktarin dermatologico polvere cutanea ogni giorno per avere dei risultati ottimali. E’ indicato soprattutto per il trattamento delle lesioni umide.
Applichi una quantita di polvere sufficiente a coprire la zona interessata. Applichi la polvere 2 volte al giorno. Il trattamento va proseguito ininterrottamente almeno fino a una settimana dopo la scomparsa dei sintomi, e puo durare da 2 a 6 settimane, in funzione del tipo e dell’estensione dell’infezione.
Nel caso stia usando in combinazione anche Daktarin Dermatologico crema, e sufficiente usare sia la polvere che la crema una volta al giorno.
Modalita d’uso
Lavi la zona interessata e asciughi bene. Tratti non solo la parte infetta, ma anche l’area intorno ad essa. Lavi accuratamente le mani dopo ciascuna applicazione per evitare di trasferire i germi ad altre parti del corpo o ad altre persone. Nelle infezioni dei piedi si consiglia di cospargere quotidianamente i piedi con Daktarin Dermatologico polvere cutanea durante e dopo il trattamento con altra formulazione per uso locale (Daktarin Dermatologico crema), in particolare gli spazi tra le dita, e anche le calze e le scarpe.
