Bengay is an analgesic ointment medicinal product used in muscle, joint and spine pain.
The active substances are methyl salicylate (Methylis salicylas) and menthol (Mentholum).
1 g of ointment contains 150 mg of methyl salicylate and 100 g of menthol
Excipients: stearic acid, glycerol monostearate, anhydrous lanolin, polysorbate 85, sorbitol tristearate, triethylamine, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: ointment for use on the skin, apply to the affected area, gently massaging until completely absorbed 3 to 4 times a day.
Use of BenGay without a doctor’s recommendation should not exceed 7 days.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Dorośli i dzieci w wieku powyżej 12 lat: maść do stosowania na skórę, nanieść na chorobowo zmienione miejsce delikatnie masując do całkowitego wchłonięcia 3 do 4 razy na dobę.
Stosowanie leku BenGay bez zalecenia lekarza nie powinno przekraczać 7 dni.
