MINOXIDILUM
The active substance in Belohair 5% is minoxidil. It belongs to a group of medicines called dermatology.
Androgenic alopecia (hair loss with a male form of baldness) is a type of hair loss that can affect both men and women. In men, alopecia begins with the remission of the hairline on the forehead and hair loss on the scalp, the affected areas gradually enlarge. During this process, a horseshoe-shaped band of hair forms in the edges of the hairline, at the back and sides of the head.
The onset and degree of hair replacement may vary between users. Younger patients and patients with a shorter duration and less baldness on the top of the head are more likely to respond to treatment. An individual response to treatment cannot be predicted.

Účinnou látkou přípravku Belohair 5% je minoxidil. Patří do skupiny léčiv nazývaných dermatologika.
Androgenně podmíněná alopecie (úbytek vlasů s mužskou formou plešatění) je druh úbytku vlasů, který může postihnout muže i ženy. U mužů začíná alopecie ústupem vlasové linie na čele a vypadáváním vlasů na temeni, postižené plochy se postupně zvětšují. V průběhu tohoto procesu se tvoří podkovovitý pruh vlasů v okrajových částech vlasové linie, vzadu a po stranách hlavy.
Počátek a stupeň náhrady vlasů může být mezi uživateli různý. Na léčbu s větší pravděpodobností zareagují pacienti mladší a pacienti s kratší dobou a s menší plochou plešatosti na vrcholku hlavy. Individuální reakci na léčbu nelze předvídat.
