The preparation is an acne therapeutic agent for use on the skin.
The medicine is used for acne vulgaris, especially on the chest and back. Furthermore, acne vulgaris, which does not respond adequately to 5% benzoyl peroxide preparations.
Benzoyl peroxide, the active ingredient of the preparation, works against the acne bacteria, which are partly responsible for the development of acne. The cornification disorder present in acne is positively influenced by the gentle peeling effect.

Das Arzneimittel wird angewendet bei Akne vulgaris, insbesondere an Brust und Rucken. Ferner Akne vulgaris, die auf 5%ige Benzoylperoxidzubereitungen nicht ausreichend anspricht.
Benzoylperoxid, der Wirkstoff des Praparates, wirkt gegen die Aknebakterien, die fur die Entstehung der Akne mitverantwortlich sind. Die bei Akne vorliegende Verhornungsstorung wird durch den schonenden Schaleffekt positiv beeinflusst.
