Its active ingredient, acetylcysteine, presumably acts through the chemical manipulation of tough, stuck secretions. As a result, the mucus liquefies and can be coughed up more easily. Acetyl stone is also a precursor of the amino acid L-cysteine, which in turn is part of glutathione. Contraindications

Ihr wirksamer Inhaltsstoff, das Acetylcystein, agiert vermutlich durch die chemische Manipulation zähen, festsitzenden Sekrets. In der Folge verflüssigt sich der Schleim und kann so leichter abgehustet werden. Durch die Schleimlösung wird auch die Funktionalität der Flimmerhärchen in den Bronchien wieder hergestellt. Diese transportieren den so verflüssigten Schleim zusätzlich nach außen.
Acetylstein ist zudem ein Vorläufermolekül der Aminosäure L-Cystein, die wiederum Bestandteil des Glutathions ist. Gegenanzeigen
Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der oben genannten Inhaltsstoffe sollte dieses Produkt nicht angewendet werden.
Dieses Arzneimittel darf nur bei Erwachsenen und Jugendli- chen ab 14 Jahre angewendet werden.
