Vratizolin is an antiviral medicinal product for use in the treatment of mouth and facial herpes caused by the herpes simplex virus.
The active substance is: denotivir (Denotivirum).
1 g of cream contains 30 mg of denotivir.
Excipients: cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, 15 cetyl palmitate, white petrolatum, propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, purified water
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
A drug for topical application to the skin.
Before applying the cream, wash your hands in order not to spread the infection to other parts of the skin.
The use of the drug should start at the first symptoms, such as burning or itching.
Treatment usually takes 5 days.
Apply a small amount of the cream to the affected skin several times a day.
Action
Vratizolin has antiviral activity due to denotivir, a substance belonging to antiviral drugs, contained in the drug. Denotivir shortens the duration of the disease, the use of Vratizolin during the so-called prodromal can prevent the development of the disease (but it is not a preventive measure).

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak opisano to w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek do stosowania miejscowego na skórę.
Przed zastosowaniem kremu należy umyć ręce w celu nieprzenoszenia infekcji na inne partie skóry.
Stosowanie leku powinno rozpocząć się w momencie pojawienia się pierwszych symptomów jak pieczenie czy swędzenie.
Leczenie trwa zwykle 5 dni.
Skórę zmienioną chorobowo aplikować kilka razy dziennie, należy nanosić niewielką ilość kremu.
Działanie
Vratizolin wykazuje działanie przeciwwirusowe ze względu na zawarty w leku denotywir – substancję należącą do leków przeciwwirusowych. Denotywir skraca czas trwania choroby, zastosowanie leku Vratizolin w okresie tzw. prodromalnym może zapobiec rozwojowi choroby (nie jest to jednak działanie zapobiegawcze).

Leczenie opryszczki warg i twarzy wywołanej przez wirusa opryszczki zwykłej (Herpes simplex).
