Verolax Adult is a Glycerin-based laxative drug.
Therapeutic indications
Verolax contains glycerin which serves to facilitate the evacuation of stool. The laxative effect is obtained thanks to the ability of glycerin to soften the stool and to stimulate bowel movements locally. This medicine is indicated to combat constipation. Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short period of treatment.
Dosage and Posology
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults: 1 single-dose adult container, 1 or 2 times a day. If you have not had a bowel movement for more than two weeks (stubborn constipation), your doctor may advise you to use 2 doses at the same time. Use only for short periods of treatment
How to use
How is Verolax Adult used?
Verolax Adult can be used at any time of the day.
Grasp the collar and twist the hood to break the seal;
Lift the cap; in both operations DO NOT grab the bellows, to avoid the medicine spilling out when opening;
Lubricate the cannula with a drop of the solution itself.
Introduce the cannula into the rectum and press the bellows.
Remove while keeping the bellows pressed and discard.
Verolax Adulti è un farmaco lassativo a base di Glicerina.
Indicazioni terapeutiche
Verolax contiene glicerina che serve per facilitare l’evacuazione delle feci. L’effetto lassativo si ottiene grazie alla capacità che ha la glicerina di ammorbidire le feci e di stimolare a livello locale i movimenti intestinali. Questo medicinale è indicato per combattere la stitichezza. Si rivolga al medico se non si sente meglio o se si sente peggio dopo un breve periodo di trattamento.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Usi questo medicinale seguendo sempre esattamente quanto riportato in questo foglio o le istruzioni del medico o del farmacista. Se ha dubbi consulti il medico o il farmacista.
Adulti: 1 contenitore monodose adulti, 1 o 2 volte al giorno. Se non evacua da più di due settimane (stitichezza ostinata), il medico potrà consigliarle di utilizzare 2 dosi contemporaneamente. Usare solo per brevi periodi di trattamento
Modalità d’uso
Come si usa Verolax Adulti?
Verolax Adulti può essere utilizzato in qualsiasi momento della giornata.
Afferrare il colletto e ruotare il cappuccio per rompere il sigillo;
Sollevare il cappuccio; in entrambe le operazioni NON afferrare il soffietto, per evitare la fuoriuscita del medicinale al momento dell’apertura;
Lubrificare la cannula con una goccia della soluzione stessa.
Introdurre la cannula nel retto e premere il soffietto.
Estrarre mantenendo premuto il soffietto e gettare.
