Valocordin®-Doxylamine, an antihistamine, is used for the short-term treatment of sleep disorders.
Valocordin®-Doxylamine is used to treat uncommon sleep disorders (difficulty falling or staying asleep) in adults.
application
To take.
The drops are taken with sufficient liquid (water) about ½ to 1 hour before going to bed.
It is important to ensure that after taking Valocordin®-Doxylamine, sufficient sleep is ensured in order to avoid impairment of the ability to react the following morning.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Valocordin® doxylamine is too strong or too weak.
dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take 22 drops of Valocordin® doxylamine (equivalent to 25 mg doxylamine succinate). For more severe sleep disorders, a maximum dose of 44 drops of Valocordin® doxylamine (equivalent to 50 mg doxylamine succinate) can be taken. The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, elderly or debilitated patients who are particularly sensitive to doxylamine should consult a doctor to determine the individual dose of Valocordin® doxylamine.

Anwendung

Die Tropfen werden mit ausreichend Flussigkeit (Wasser) ca. ? bis 1 Stunde vor dem Schlafengehen eingenommen.
Es ist darauf zu achten, dass nach der Einnahme von Valocordin®-Doxylamin fur eine ausreichende Schlafdauer gesorgt wird, um eine Beeintrachtigung des Reaktionsvermogens am folgenden Morgen zu vermeiden.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung von Valocordin®-Doxylamin zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
Dosierung
Soweit nicht anders verordnet, nehmen Erwachsene 22 Tropfen Valocordin®-Doxylamin (entsprechend 25 mg Doxylaminsuccinat) ein. Bei starkeren Schlafstorungen konnen als Hochstdosis bis zu 44 Tropfen Valocordin®-Doxylamin (entsprechend 50 mg Doxylaminsuccinat) eingenommen werden. Die maximale tagliche Dosis sollte nicht uberschritten werden. Zur Festlegung der individuellen Valocordin®-Doxylamin-Dosis sollten Patienten mit eingeschrankter Leber- oder Nierenfunktion, altere oder geschwachte Patienten, die besonders empfindlich auf Doxylamin reagieren, einen Arzt aufsuchen.
