In contrast to a purely water-based preparation (most gels), the hormone-free Vagisan MoistCream is a cream. The Vagisan MoistCream contains not only a high proportion of water but also a caring amount of fat.
Vagisan’s white, smooth cream supplies the dry vagina with moisture and nourishing lipids and alleviates the symptoms caused by vaginal dryness such as: B. Feeling dry, burning, itching, or vaginal pain. With the addition of lactic acid, the moist cream is adjusted to a pH value of 4.5 – Vagisan MoistCream supports the maintenance of a natural acid value (pH value) in the vagina.
This vaginal cream is free from hormones (estrogens) and can therefore also be used together with systemic hormone replacement therapy (e.g. tablets, transdermal patches) or alternating with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogen). The MoistCream is fragrance-free.

Bei der hormonfreien Vagisan FeuchtCreme handelt es sich im Unterschied zu einer rein wasserbasierten Zubereitung (die meisten Gele) um eine Creme. Die Vagisan FeuchtCreme hat neben einem hohen Wasser-Anteil auch einen pflegenden Fett-Anteil.
Die wei?e, geschmeidige Creme von Vagisan versorgt die trockene Vagina mit Feuchtigkeit und pflegenden Lipiden und lindert die durch Scheidentrockenheit hervorgerufenen Symptome wie z. B. Trockenheitsgefuhl, Brennen, Juckreiz oder Scheidenschmerzen. Durch den Zusatz von Milchsaure ist die Feuchtcreme auf einen pH-Wert von 4,5 eingestellt – damit unterstutzt Vagisan FeuchtCreme die Erhaltung eines naturlichen Saurewertes (pH Wert) in der Scheide.
Diese Scheidencreme ist frei von Hormonen (Ostrogenen) und kann deshalb auch zusammen mit einer systemischen Hormonersatztherapie (z. B. Tabletten, transdermale Pflaster) oder im Wechsel mit Hormon- (Ostrogen-)haltigen Vaginalcremes oder -zapfchen angewandt werden. Die FeuchtCreme ist frei von Duftstoffen.
