It is used for acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and airways and as a supportive treatment in antibacterial therapy. These are usually upper respiratory diseases such as sinusitis and rhinosinusitis. The incipient symptoms of these inflammations are manifested by runny nose, followed by nasal congestion and facial pain and a feeling of pressure, especially around the nose.
Method of administration
Sinupret can be taken with a liquid (eg a glass of water), for example to mask the bitter taste in children. Patients with a sensitive stomach are advised to take Sinupret oral drops after a meal.
Duration of treatment
Sinupret should not be used for more than 7-14 days. See section “Special warnings and precautions for use” “Special warnings and precautions for use”
Pediatric population
Sinupret is not intended for use in children below 2 years of age, see section “Special warnings and precautions for use”.
Užívá se při akutních a chronických zánětech vedlejších dutin nosních a dýchacích cest a jako podpůrná léčba při antibakteriální terapii. Obvykle jsou to onemocnění horních dýchacích cest jako je zánět vedlejších dutin nosních /sinusitida/ a rinosinusitida. Počínající příznaky těchto zánětů se projevují výtokem z nosu, následně ucpaným nosem a bolestmi tváře a pocitem tlaku, hlavně kolem nosu.
Způsob podání
Sinupret se může užívat s tekutinou (např. se sklenicí vody), například proto, aby se dětem zamaskovala hořká chuť. Pacientům s citlivým žaludkem se doporučuje užívat Sinupret perorální kapky po jídle.
Délka trvání léčby
