- Butamirate citrate has a pronounced antitussive effect. It also has a non-specific peripheral anticholinergic and bronchospasmolytic effect, which is enhanced by a known anti-inflammatory effect.
- It does not cause side effects typical of narcotic antitussives, such as sedation, constipation and addiction. It has a wide therapeutic latitude. The product does not contain sugar.
