Meadow clover is a perennial plant growing to a height of 10 cm. It is sometimes called red clover, which is a bad translation from foreign names. It originates from Europe and adjacent parts of Africa and Asia. It was grown in the Czech Republic in the 19th century, today it is an ornament of every flowering meadow at all altitudes.
Le trèfle des prés est une plante vivace pouvant atteindre 10 cm de hauteur. On l’appelle parfois trèfle rouge, ce qui est une mauvaise traduction des noms étrangers. Il est originaire d’Europe et des régions adjacentes d’Afrique et d’Asie. Il a commencé à être cultivé en République tchèque au 19ème siècle, il est aujourd’hui un ornement de chaque prairie fleurie à toutes les altitudes.
Jetel luční je vytrvalá rostlina dorůstající výšky až 10 cm. Někdy se nazývá jako jetel červený, což je špatný překlad z cizích názvů. Původem je z Evropy a přilehlých částí Afriky a Asie. V České republice se začal pěstovat v 19. století, dnes je ozdobou každé rozkvetlé louky ve všech nadmořských výškách.
