Pohl Boskamp Baldurat 650mg 20 is a herbal medicine for sedation, used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years is one film-coated tablet once a day for the treatment of mild nervous tension. If you have trouble sleeping, you should take a film-coated tablet half an hour to an hour before bedtime. If necessary, you can take another film-coated tablet in the early evening. The medicine is not intended for children under 12 years of age. There is insufficient data for specific dosage recommendations in cases of impaired renal/hepatic function. The film-coated tablets are taken whole with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water). Due to the gradual onset of action, valerian root is not suitable for the acute treatment of mild nervous tension and sleep disorders. For optimal treatment results, continuous use for 2-4 weeks is recommended. Composition: Active ingredient: 1 film-coated tablet contains 650 mg of dry extract of valerian roots (3 – 6: 1) [extractant: ethanol 70% (v / v)].
