Pinimenthol® cold ointment was developed to be applied to the chest and upper back. The substances from essential oils get through the skin into the blood and into the airways. There they unfold their beneficial effects. The essential oils ensure that the bronchi relax and that it is easier to breathe again. In addition, firmly attached mucus loosens so that the secretion can be carried out of the bronchi by coughing. For an inhalation, a 5 cm long strand of Pinimenthol® cold ointment (for adolescents from twelve and adults) is placed in a suitable container and poured with hot water. Inhaling the beneficial essential oils is particularly good at getting into the airways. Children under the age of 6 should not inhale with hot water at all.
Dosage and instructions for use:
For rubbing in: 2 to 4 times a day, rub a 3-4 cm long strand of Pinimenthol® cold ointment, eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil, menthol onto the chest and back or massage in lightly.
For inhalation: 1 to 3 times a day, put an approx. 5 cm long strand of Pinimenthol® cold ointment, eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil, menthol into a suitable container (e.g. the Pinimenthol® inhaler), pour hot water over it and inhale the essential oils for several minutes. When using the Pinimenthol® inhaler: A maximum of 150 ml of water is put into the inhaler. When inhaling, it is recommended to close or cover your eyes to avoid possible irritation of the conjunctiva. The hot water, which is necessary for the evaporation of the essential active ingredients and for the inhalation, should be handled as carefully as possible.
In the event of complaints that last longer than 3-5 days, in the event of shortness of breath, headache, fever or purulent / bloody sputum or nasal secretions, a doctor must be consulted urgently
Pinimenthol® Erkдltungssalbe wurde entwickelt, um damit die Brust und den oberen Rьcken einzucremen. So gelangen die Stoffe aus дtherischen Цlen ьber die Haut ins Blut bis hin zu den Atemwegen. Dort entfalten sie ihre wohltuende Wirkung. Die дtherischen Цle sorgen dafьr, dass sich die Bronchien entkrampfen und dass man wieder leichter Luft bekommt. Darьber hinaus lцst sich fest sitzender Schleim, so dass durch Husten das Sekret aus den Bronchien herausbefцrdert werden kann. Fьr ein Inhalat wird ein 5 cm langer Salbenstrang der Pinimenthol® Erkдltungssalbe (fьr Jugendliche ab zwцlf und Erwachsene) in ein geeignetes GefдЯ gegeben und mit heiЯem Wasser ьbergossen. Durch das Einatmen gelangen die wohltuenden дtherischen Цle besonders gut in die Atemwege. Kinder unter 6 Jahren sollten ьberhaupt noch nicht mit heiЯem Wasser inhalieren.
Dosierung und Anwendungshinweise:
Zur Einreibung: 2 bis 4-mal tдglich einen 3-4 cm langen Strang Pinimenthol® Erkдltungssalbe Eucalyptusцl Kiefernnadelцl Menthol auf Brust und Rьcken verreiben oder leicht einmassieren.
Zur Inhalation: 1 bis 3-mal tдglich einen etwa 5 cm langen Strang Pinimenthol® Erkдltungssalbe Eucalyptusцl Kiefernnadelцl Menthol in ein geeignetes GefдЯ (z.B. den Pinimenthol® Inhalator) geben, mit heiЯem Wasser ьbergieЯen und die дtherischen Цle mehrere Minuten lang einatmen. Bei Verwendung des Pinimenthol® Inhalators: In den Inhalator werden maximal 150 ml Wasser gegeben. Bei der Inhalation emp?ehlt es sich, die Augen zu schlieЯen bzw. abzudecken, um eine mцgliche Reizung der Augenbindehaut zu vermeiden. Mit dem heiЯen Wasser, das fьr die Verdampfung der дtherischen Wirkstoffe und fьr die Inhalation notwendig ist, sollte mцglichst vorsichtig umgegangen werden.
Bei Beschwerden, die lдnger als 3-5 Tage anhalten, bei Atemnot, bei Kopfschmerzen, bei Fieber oder eitrigem/ blutigem Auswurf oder Nasensekret muss dringend ein Arzt aufgesucht werden
