What OROFAR is and what it is used for
Orofar contains an antiseptic (a substance with disinfectant effects), benzoxonium chloride and an anesthetic (a substance that numbs the site of pain), lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate. Orofar works against bacteria, viruses and fungi that cause infections of the mouth and throat. Orofar provides relief from sore throat and mouth.
Orofar is used to relieve the symptoms associated with infections of the mouth and throat: sore throat associated with colds, pharyngitis or larynx, in the treatment of stomatitis, aphthae and gingivitis.
Orofar can be used as an adjunct to angina.
Orofar is intended for adults and for children and adolescents from 4 to 18 years.
