The dosage of the active ingredient ibuprofen is based on body weight and age. The maximum total daily dose of ibuprofen is 20-30 mg per kg of body weight. The dosing interval should not be less than 6 hours and the maximum daily dose should never be exceeded.

Children from 2 to 4 years of age with a body weight of 12.5 to 17 kg:
Single dose: 1 suppository (125 mg ibuprofen)
maximum daily dose: 3 suppositories (375 mg ibuprofen)
Children from 4 – 6 years with a body weight from 17 – 20.5 kg:
Single dose: 1 suppository (125 mg ibuprofen)
maximum daily dose: 4 suppositories (500 mg ibuprofen)
