Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
There is no evidence of a risk of malformation. However, the documented experience in humans with use in early pregnancy is very limited. Magnesium Verla IV 50% should therefore only be used after the treating physician has weighed the benefits and risks. If magnesium is administered parenterally shortly before birth, the newborn should be monitored for signs of toxicity (neurological depression with respiratory depression, muscle weakness, loss of reflexes) during the first 24-48 hours of life. The administration of aminoglycoside antibiotics should be avoided in this cell area because there are indications of interactions. With parenteral use of magnesium to inhibit labor over a longer period in high doses, disorders of skeletal ossification in newborns have been reported. When using Magnesium Verla IV However, 50% in the indicated therapeutic dosage has no concerns.
Driving and using machines:
When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are required.
The other ingredient is: water for injection devices.
