Therapeutic indications
Lidofast Urethral Gel is used in case of endourethral maneuvers (introduction of catheters, dilations, cystoscopies, etc.), combining the lubricating action with the anesthetic action.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: push the gel directly into the urethra by squeezing the tube and massaging the posterior urethra at the same time, applying urethra forceps for 10 minutes, after which the desired endourethral maneuvers can be practiced . The content of the tube is sufficient to completely fill the urethra. The introduction of the gel into the urethra is facilitated by the use of the attached plastic applicator.
The neutrality of the vehicle of both formulations of the product, its complete solubility in water and the absence of fatty substances mean that, even with continued use of Lidofast, the lenses of the instruments used for the various types of maneuvers do not fog up and their rubber parts do not deteriorate.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità: spingere il gel direttamente nell’ uretra schiacciando il tubo e massaggiando al tempo stesso l’ uretra posteriore, applicando una pinza da uretra per 10 minuti, dopo di che si possono praticare le manovre endouretrali desiderate. Il contenuto del tubo è sufficiente per riempire completamente l’ uretra. L’ introduzione del gel nell’ uretra è facilitato dall’ impiego dell’ annesso applicatore di plastica.
La neutralità del veicolo di entrambe le formulazioni del prodotto, la sua completa solubilità in acqua e l’ assenza di sostanze grasse fanno sì che, anche con un uso continuato di Lidofast non si appannano le lenti degli strumenti usati per i vari tipi di manovre e non si deteriorano le loro parti in gomma.
