Contraindications and Precautions
Clotrimazole must not be used
– if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of clotrimazole.
Particular caution is required with the use of clotrimazole
– During treatment, you should only use deodorants or intimate hygiene products after consulting your doctor, as a reduction in the effectiveness of clotrimazole cannot be ruled out. If the partner has been diagnosed with inflammation of the glans and foreskin due to a fungal infection, he or she should receive additional local treatment using the forms intended for this purpose. If clotrimazole and latex condoms are used at the same time, the tear resistance may be reduced and the safety of condoms impaired. Gegenanzeigen und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
Clotrimazol darf nicht angewendet werden
– wenn Sie überempfindlich (allergisch) gegen Clotrimazol oder einen der sonstigen Bestandteile von Clotrimazol sind.
Besondere Vorsicht bei der Anwendung von Clotrimazol ist erforderlich
– Während der Behandlung sollten Sie Desodorantien oder Mittel zur Intimhygiene nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt anwenden, da eine Minderung der Wirksamkeit von Clotrimazol dabei nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann. Bei ärztlich diagnostizierter Entzündung von Eichel und Vorhaut des Partners durch eine Pilzinfektion sollte bei diesem eine zusätzliche lokale Behandlung mit den dafür vorgesehenen Anwendungsformen erfolgen. Bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung von Clotrimazol und Kondomen aus Latex kann es zu einer Verminderung der Reißfestigkeit und damit zur Beeinträchtigung der Sicherheit von Kondomen kommen. Wichtige Informationen über bestimmte sonstige Bestandteile von Clotrimazol Kombi-Packung Der in der Creme enthaltene Bestandteil Cetylstearylalkohol kann örtlich begrenzt Hautreizungen (z.B. Kontaktdermatitis) hervorrufen.
