Hirudoid ointment for blunt injuries with or without hematomas
The active substance is mucopolysaccharide polysulfate 0.3 g / 100 g, corresponding to 25,000 U *
(* Units based on APTT).
The other ingredients are: glycerol 85%, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, stearic acid, ointment base with lanolin alcohols, emulsifying cetostearyl alcohol, myristyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, thymol, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Hirudoid ointment is a medicine for topical application to the skin.
Hirudoid should be applied 2 to 3 times a day to the affected areas or, if necessary, more frequently. Depending on the size of the treated area, an application of 3 to 5 cm of ointment is usually sufficient. Hirudoid in the form of an ointment should be massaged into the affected areas. In the case of painful inflammation, the ointment should be gently spread over the affected areas. Hirudoid ointment can be used as an ointment dressing.
Treatment usually takes up to 10 days for blunt injuries, and 1 to 2 weeks for superficial vein inflammation.
Hirudoid can also be used for phono and iontophoresis. During iontophoresis, the ointment is administered under the cathode.
Indications
Mucoplisaccharide polysulfate belongs to a group of topical medications for:
blunt injuries with or without hematomas
superficial vein inflammation that cannot be treated with a pressure dressing.
Hirudoid ointment can also be used for phono- and iontophoresis. With iontophoresis, the ointment is administered under the cathode.
Contraindications
Do not use Hirudoid:
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to polymucopolysaccharide polysulfate, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate or any of the excipients;
ointment should not be applied to open wounds and damaged skin.

Pozostałe składniki to: glicerol 85%, 4-hydroksybenzoesan metylu, 4-hydroksybenzoesan propylu, kwas stearynowy, podłoże maściowe z alkoholami lanoliny, alkohol cetostearylowy emulgujący, alkohol mirystylowy, alkohol izopropylowy, potasu wodorotlenek, tymol, woda oczyszczona.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Hirudoid maść jest lekiem do stosowania miejscowego, na skórę.
Lek Hirudoid należy nakładać 2 do 3 razy na dobę na miejsca zmienione chorobowo lub, jeśli zachodzi potrzeba, częściej. W zależności od wielkości leczonej powierzchni zazwyczaj wystarcza nałożenie od 3 do 5 cm maści. Hirudoid w postaci maści należy wmasować w miejsca zmienione chorobowo. W przypadku bolesnego zapalenia, maść należy delikatnie rozprowadzić na miejsca chorobowo zmienione. Hirudoid maść może być używany jako opatrunek z maści.
W przypadku tępych urazów leczenie zwykle trwa do 10 dni, a w przypadku zapalenia żył powierzchownych od 1 do 2 tygodni.
Hirudoid może być również stosowany do fono- i jonoforezy. Podczas jonoforezy maść jest podawana pod katodę.
Wskazania
Mukoplisacharydowy polisiarczan należy do grupy leków stosowanych miejscowo w przypadku:
tępych urazów z krwiakami lub bez krwiaków
zapalenia żył powierzchownych, których nie można leczyć opatrunkiem uciskowym.
Hirudoid maść może być również stosowany do fono- i jonoforezy. Przy jonoforezie maść jest podawana pod katodę.
Przeciwwskazania
Kiedy nie stosować leku Hirudoid:
jeśli występuje nadwrażliwość (uczulenie) na polisiarczan mukopolisacharydowy, 4-hydroksybenzoesan metylu, 4-hydroksybenzoesan propylu lub na którąkolwiek substancję pomocniczą;
nie należy nakładać maści na otwarte rany i uszkodzoną skórę.
