Ibuprofen Galmed contains the active substance ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of ‘non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs’. It prevents the formation of tissue agents, so-called prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation and are released at the site of tissue damage. Ibuprofen relieves pain and inflammation of various origins, especially in diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Ibuprofen also suppresses the fever that accompanies, for example, colds.

To reduce fever
For the treatment of mild to moderate pain, eg headaches including migraine, back pain, toothache, post-operative pain, pain from soft tissue injuries such as bruising or sprains
For muscle and joint pain accompanying flu diseases
During painful menstruation
In case of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthritis and arthrosis) accompanied by pain, redness, swelling and joint stiffness, the product should only be used on the advice of a doctor.

Přípravek Ibuprofen Galmed obsahuje léčivou látku ibuprofen, která patří do skupiny tzv. nesteroidních protizánětlivých léčiv. Zabraňuje tvorbě tkáňových působků, tzv. prostaglandinů, které jsou zodpovědné za vznik bolesti a zánětu a uvolňují se v místě poškození tkáně. Ke snižování horečky
K léčbě mírné až středně silné bolesti, např. bolesti hlavy včetně migrény, bolesti zad, zubů, pooperační bolesti, bolesti při poraněních měkkých tkání, jako je pohmoždění nebo podvrtnutí
Při bolesti svalů a kloubů provázející chřipková onemocnění
Při bolestivé menstruaci
V případě zánětlivých a degenerativních onemocnění kloubů a páteře (artritidě a artróze) provázených bolestivostí, zarudnutím, otokem a kloubní ztuhlostí se přípravek používá pouze na doporučení lékaře
