Elmetacin is a medicinal product with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties indicated for use, inter alia, in in the treatment of pain after injuries, arthritis. Elmetacin contains indomethacin, which belongs to NSAIDs, i.e. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins (responsible, among others, for inflammation, pain). It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with: joint inflammation, e.g. inflammation of the tendons, tendon sheaths, joint capsules, stiffening of the shoulder joint, inflammation caused by trauma, contusion (bruises, sprains, sprains), exacerbation of osteoarthritis.
