Ancient polymineral carbon rock with a wide range of uses, especially for water harmonization . The stones are 4 – 5 cm in size.
The age of the shungite is estimated at 2 billion years. The original site of the shungite is located in Karelia , in northwestern Russia, the name of the village of Sunga, hence the name shungite. It contains almost half of the elements of the periodic table , but the most important and interesting is carbon , which is the basis of life on Earth.
Product benefits
It contains non-graphitized, non-crystalline carbon in an unusual form, so-called fullerenes – a new, fourth form of carbon existence.
Used for water filtration.
Product composition
100% natural shungite stones with a size of 4 – 5 cm.
How to use
Before using the shungite for the first time, wash it thoroughly under running water, then add approx. 100 g of shungite to 2 l of water and leave it on for 24 hours before using the water. To use to purify water in the well, rinse the shungite pulp and pour it into the well, you will feel the change in the taste of the water the next day. The pulp in the well works for about 2-3 years, then you pour new pulp. For ordinary wells, the amount of maximum 5 cm layer at the bottom of the well is about 50 kg.
What to watch out for
Regular cleaning is important so that the shungite retains its properties. Shungite grit will last you 3 – 6 months , then its cleaning ability will decrease and it must be replaced with a new one.
Recommended use
Clean under running water or leave it immersed in water (preferably in distilled water, which is “hungry” and does not contain any impurities). Allow to dry in the light, preferably in the sun.
