Each tablet contains 1000 mg of D-mannose, 50 mg of standardized dry extract of birch leaves and 50 mg of standardized dry extract of American cranberry.
- D-mannose is completely excreted in the urine within 90 minutes after taking the preparation. There, it exerts its beneficial effect, helping to cleanse the urinary tract with the act of urination. Its effect is quite short-lived, because it is eliminated very quickly from the body. Two hours after taking it, only 10% of the taken D-mannose remains in the body, so for maximum effect, the preparation must be taken every 2 – 3 hours. Proanthocyanidins are also excreted in the urine, where they support the beneficial effect of D-mannose. The two ingredients mutually enhance their action and the effect of their joint use is significantly better than their separate use. The product is particularly effective in women with frequent sexual intercourse, as a result of which the urinary tract may be contaminated with cells and substances from the skin and vagina.
- Dosage:
During the first two days: 2 tablets every 2-3 hours, or a total of 6 doses of 2 tablets. On the third day: 3 doses of 2 tablets. When taking the preparation in connection with frequent sexual intercourse: 2 tablets 30-60 minutes before the act. Try to urinate immediately after the end of intercourse.
For children from 3 to 6 years: the first two days – 6 times 1/2 tablet, the third day – 3 times 1/2 tablet. For children from 6 to 12 years: the first two days – 6 times 1 tablet, the third day – 3 times 1 tablet.
