The chamomile basket (Chamomillae anthodium) is a medicinal product in the form of an infusing herb. The chamomile basket is used orally in gastrointestinal ailments as an antispasmodic and slightly anti-inflammatory agent. The drug can also be used externally in the form of an infusion in inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes.

Dosage

Oral infusion: 1 heaped teaspoon of chamomile (approx. 3 g) pour 1 cup (150 ml) of boiling water and infuse covered for 10 to 15 minutes. Then strain. Drink 1 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day between meals.
For use on the mucosa of the mouth and throat or the skin: Prepare an infusion using the proportion of 3-10 g (1-4 teaspoons) of a basket of chamomile per 100 ml of water (3/4 cup).
