Carnitene is an oral solution based on L-carnitine.
Therapeutic indications
Carnitene Oral Solution is indicated in the treatment of primary and secondary carnitine deficiencies.
Dosage and Posology
Carnitene Oral Solution should be taken in the following doses and modalities. In primary deficiencies and deficiencies secondary to genetic diseases, the oral daily dose depends on age and weight: from 0 to 2 years, 150 mg per kg of body weight are recommended, from 2 to 6 years 100 mg per kg, from 6 at 12 years 75 mg per kg; over 12 years and in adults 2 – 4 grams according to the severity of the disease and the doctor’s judgment. In deficiencies secondary to hemodialysis the dose is 2 – 4 grams per day. Oral solutions must be taken only after dilution, the one in single-dose containers must be diluted in a glass of water.

Carnitene Soluzione Orale è indicato nel trattamento delle deficienze primarie e secondarie di carnitina.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Carnitene Soluzione Orale va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalitàl. Nelle deficienze primarie e deficienze secondarie a malattie genetiche la dose giornaliera orale è in funzione dell’età e del peso: da 0 a 2 anni sono consigliati 150 mg per kg di peso corporeo, da 2 a 6 anni 100 mg per kg, da 6 a 12 anni 75 mg per kg; oltre i 12 anni e negli adulti 2 – 4 grammi secondo la gravità della patologia ed il giudizio del medico. Nelle deficienze secondarie ad emodialisi la dose è di 2 – 4 grammi al giorno. Le soluzioni orali vanno assunte solo previa diluizione, quella nei contenitori monodose deve essere diluita in un bicchiere d’acqua.
