Control solution with a known glucose concentration to verify the accuracy of the blood glucose measurement using an Accutrend Plus glucometer.
Method of use
– The control solution is used instead of the blood sample. The required amount of the known solution is applied to a control strip and the usual measurement is carried out immediately. The measurement result must not deviate from the known concentration of the calibration solution beyond the permissible range (given in the instructions). In case of deviation beyond the range, it is necessary to use a new test strip or a new set of strips, or perform a service check of the meter.
