CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1. Do not use antidepressants, MAO inhibitors at the same time or within two consecutive weeks in medication (see paragraph 4.5). Bronchial asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), pneumonia, difficulty breathing, respiratory depression, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, stenosis of the gastrointestinal and urogenital apparatus, epilepsy, severe liver diseases. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Bisolvon cough sedative should not be prescribed to patients with fructose intolerance. Pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, during lactation (see paragraph 4.6). In case of rare hereditary conditions of incompatibility with one of the components (see paragraph 4.4 “special warnings and precautions for use”), the use of the medicinal product is contraindicated.
DOSAGE
It is recommended to adhere to the following dosages unless otherwise prescribed: Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1-2 chewable tablets (10.5 – 21 mg, dextromethorphan hydrobromide) to melt in the mouth 4 times a day. Do not exceed a maximum dose of 8 gummies per day (equivalent to 84 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide). Children under 12 years of age: Bisolvon cough sedative should not be used. If the cough persists for more than 5-7 days, you should consult your doctor. Long-term treatment of more than 5-7 days is not recommended.
CONTROINDICAZIONI
Ipersensibilità al principio attivo o ad uno qualsiasi degli eccipienti elencati al paragrafo 6.1. Non usare antidepressivi, inibitori MAO contemporaneamente o entro due settimane consecutive nei medicinali (vedere paragrafo 4.5). Asma bronchiale, BPCO (broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva), polmonite, difficoltà respiratorie, depressione respiratoria, malattie cardiovascolari, ipertensione, ipertiroidismo, glaucoma, ipertrofia prostatica, stenosi dell’apparato gastrointestinale e urogenitale, epilessia, gravi malattie del fegato. Non somministrare a bambini di età inferiore a 12 anni. Bisolvon tosse sedativo non deve essere prescritto a pazienti con intolleranza al fruttosio. Gravidanza, soprattutto nel primo trimestre, durante l’allattamento (vedere paragrafo 4.6). In caso di rare condizioni ereditarie di incompatibilità con uno dei componenti (vedere paragrafo 4.4 “Avvertenze speciali e precauzioni d’impiego”), l’uso del medicinale è controindicato.
DOSAGGIO
Si raccomanda di attenersi ai seguenti dosaggi salvo diversa prescrizione: Adulti e adolescenti sopra i 12 anni di età: 1-2 compresse masticabili (10,5 – 21 mg, destrometorfano bromidrato) da sciogliere in bocca 4 volte al giorno. Non superare una dose massima di 8 caramelle gommose al giorno (equivalente a 84 mg di destrometorfano bromidrato). Bambini di età inferiore a 12 anni: il sedativo per la tosse Bisolvon non deve essere usato. Se la tosse persiste per più di 5-7 giorni, consultare il medico. Il trattamento a lungo termine di più di 5-7 giorni non è raccomandato.
