Bio-CLA with green tea are soft gelatin capsules, each containing 300 mg of conjugated linoleic acid (T10, C12 & C9, T11) in the form of easily digestible fatty acids and 125 mg of green tea extract.
CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) is a naturally occurring, polyunsaturated fatty acid found in the meat of ruminants (cows, sheep, etc.) and in their dairy products. CLA is a natural component of our diet, it is formed in the rumen (gastric chamber) when cattle graze. The linoleic acid content of the grass is converted into CLA. The best sources of CLA are meat and dairy products such as milk, cheese, and yogurt. CLA is GRAS certified (generally recognized as a safe food additive).
Green tea extract is especially popular with dieters and people who want to burn excess fat. The high content of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) in green tea extract (GTE) is believed to be responsible for its positive effect. EGCG supports the metabolism of fats by increasing their burning.
