Indication / application
For repeated, temporary use as an antiseptic on damaged skin, e.g.
Decubitus (pressure sore)
Ulcus cruris (lower leg ulcer)
superficial wounds and burns
infected and superinfected skin diseases
dosage
Always take the preparation exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the ointment is usually used as follows:
Apply the ointment evenly to the damaged area once or several times a day.
The brown color of the ointment is a property of the preparation and indicates its effectiveness. An increasing discoloration indicates a decrease in the effectiveness of the preparation. If the color is completely discolored, there is no longer any effectiveness. If you notice that the ointment is largely discolored, you should reapply the preparation.
Duration of application
Use of the ointment should continue as long as there are still signs of inflammation. If your symptoms have not improved after several days (2 to 5 days) of regular use, or if symptoms recur after treatment has ended, please consult your doctor.

Decubitus (Druckgeschwür)
Ulcus cruris (Unterschenkelgeschwür)
oberflächlichen Wunden und Verbrennungen
infizierten und superinfizierten Hauterkrankungen
Dosierung
Nehmen Sie das Präparat immer genau nach der Anweisung ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet wird die Salbe üblicherweise wie folgt angewendet:
Tragen Sie die Salbe ein- bis mehrmals täglich auf die geschädigte Stelle gleichmäßig auf.
Die Braunfärbung der Salbe ist eine Eigenschaft des Präparates und zeigt seine Wirksamkeit an. Eine zunehmende Entfärbung weist auf ein Nachlassen der Wirksamkeit des Präparates hin. Bei vollständiger Entfärbung ist keine Wirksamkeit mehr gegeben. Wenn Sie eine weitgehende Entfärbung der Salbe bemerken, sollten Sie das Präparat erneut auftragen.
Dauer der Anwendung
Die Anwendung der Salbe sollte so lange fortgeführt werden, wie noch Anzeichen einer Entzündung bestehen. Sollten sich nach einer mehrtägigen (2 bis 5 Tage), regelmäßigen Anwendung Ihre Beschwerden nicht gebessert haben, oder sollten nach Abschluss der Behandlung erneut Beschwerden auftreten, suchen Sie bitte Ihren Arzt auf.
