Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) is an herb that you will not find on the English lawn, but perhaps in every meadow, by the roads and in the garden. It measures about 20 centimeters, has long leaves (they have a lanceolate blade with an entire to indistinctly serrated edge), a ground rosette and a flower (plantain blooms from May to October), which is similar in appearance to a tiny cone.
Le plantain (Plantago lanceolata) est une herbe que vous ne trouverez pas sur la pelouse anglaise, mais peut-être dans chaque prairie, au bord des routes et dans le jardin. Il mesure environ 20 centimètres, a de longues feuilles (elles ont un limbe lancéolé avec un bord entier à indistinctement dentelé), une rosette broyée et une fleur (le plantain fleurit de mai à octobre), qui ressemble en apparence à un petit cône.
Jitrocel kopinatý (Plantago lanceolata) je bylinka, kterou nenajdete na anglickém trávníku, ale snad na každé louce, u cest i na zahradě. Měří cca 20 centimetrů, má dlouhé listy (mají kopinatou čepel s celokrajným až nezřetelně zoubkovaným okrajem), v přízemní růžici a květ (jitrocel kvete od května do října), který je ve zralosti podobný malinké šištičce.
