Use
Ayurvedic herbal elixirs strengthen the nutrition of body tissues ( dhatus ) and support the cleansing of body systems ( srotamsi ). They are part of the rejuvenating and revitalizing therapy of the body and mind ( rasayana ). They are traditionally drunk with warm milk or water, which Ayurvedic medicine uses as a medium or environment ( anupana ) for the preparation, use, direction and better absorption of the effects of herbal preparations. Other agents that increase the therapeutic effect of herbs ( vehicles ) are honey, cane syrup or raw sugar, renneted butter ( ghee ) or oil.
We recommend using a maximum of two herbal elixirs at the same time. Multiple elixirs can be alternated in a daily or weekly regimen if we use them to normalize common manifestations when the balance of physical or mental health is disturbed. For their optimal effect, we use them before meals and separately with an interval of one hour. In the event of a more serious correction of physical or mental health, it is necessary to use elixirs in a longer regimen of Ayurvedic treatments for 1-3 months in accordance with the daily dosage indicated on the package. The specific taste of each elixir is part of the therapeutic effect and corresponds to the Ayurvedic properties of the six flavors.
