The preparation is a medicine used to treat fungal diseases (mycoses) of the skin caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, molds and others, such as Malassezia furfur, and skin infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum.
These can occur e.g. B. in the form of:
Mycoses of the feet (athlete’s foot), between toes and fingers, on the nail fold (paronychia), also in connection with nail mycoses; Skin diseases that are superinfected with clotrimazole-sensitive pathogens; Mycoses of the skin and skin folds; superficial candidiasis; Pityriasis versicolor (bran fungus); Infections with Corynebacterium minutissimum (Erythrasma); seborrheic dermatitis only with microbial involvement or similar. The active ingredient penetrates the affected skin layers and attacks the fungus there. The result: the fungus dies or its growth is inhibited.
Das Präparat ist ein Arzneimittel zur Behandlung von Pilzerkrankungen (Mykosen) der Haut, verursacht durch Dermatophyten, Hefen, Schimmelpilze und andere, wie Malassezia furfur, sowie Hautinfektionen durch Corynebacterium minutissimum.
Diese können vorkommen z. B. in Form von:
Mykosen der Füße (Fußpilz), zwischen Zehen und Fingern, am Nagelfalz (Paronychien), auch in Verbindung mit Nagelmykosen; Hauterkrankungen, die mit Clotrimazol-empfindlichen Erregern superinfiziert sind; Mykosen der Haut und Hautfalten; oberflächigen Candidosen; Pityriasis versicolor (Kleienpilzflechte); Infektionen mit Corynebacterium minutissimum (Erythrasma); seborrhoischer Dermatitis nur bei mikrobieller Mitbeteiligung o. a. Erreger.
Der Wirkstoff dringt in die befallenen Hautschichten ein und greift dort den Pilz an. Die Folge: der Pilz stirbt ab oder wird in seinem Wachstum gehemmt.
