Clotrimazole-based cream.
Therapeutic indications
Same antifungal is used in all primitive or secondary superficial mycoses, sustained by Epidermophyton, Trichophyton, Microsporum, Candida and Malassezia furfur; in erythrasma; in tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis (Hebra’s eczema marginate); in pityriasis versicolor; in primitive pyoderma; for preventive and curative purposes of overlapping infections caused by yeasts (saccharomycetes) and by Gram positive bacteria.
Posology and Dosage
Same antifungal should be applied two-three times a day, rubbing lightly until the cream is absorbed: it is not necessary to use large quantities of product for each application. In the treatment of erythrasma and pityriasis versicolor, it is advisable to continue the therapy for at least 3 weeks; in the treatment of all other mycoses it is advisable to continue the treatment for at least 4 weeks, even if the inflammatory symptoms disappear.
To avoid relapses, which are very common in mycosis, it is good to observe some elementary hygiene rules: frequent change of underwear; towels and their chemical or thermal disinfection; avoid promiscuity of clothes and linen, treat the partner at the same time with a therapy of vaginal tablets, etc.

Antimicotico Same si usa in tutte le micosi superficiali primitive o secondarie, sostenute da Epidermophyton, Trichophyton, Microsporum, Candida e Malassezia furfur; nell’eritrasma; nella tinea pedis (piede d’atleta), tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis (eczema marginato di Hebra); nella pityriasis versicolor; nelle piodermiti primitive; a scopo preventivo e curativo di infezioni sovrapposte sostenute da lieviti (saccaromiceti) e da batteri Gram positivi.
Posologia e Dosaggio
Antimicotico Same va applicato due-tre volte al giorno, frizionando leggermente fino ad assorbimento della crema: non occorre utilizzare grandi quantita di prodotto per ogni applicazione. Nel trattamento dell’eritrasma e della pityriasis versicolor e bene proseguire la terapia per almeno 3 settimane; nel trattamento di tutte le altre micosi e consigliabile proseguire la cura per almeno 4 settimane, anche se si verifica la scomparsa dei sintomi infiammatori.
Per evitare recidive, assai comuni nelle micosi, e bene osservare alcune elementari norme igieniche: frequente ricambio della biancheria intima; degli asciugamani e loro disinfezione chimica o termica; evitare promiscuita degli indumenti e della biancheria, trattare contemporaneamente con una terapia di tavolette vaginali la partner, ecc
